Since the beginning of the summer, work has been underway at the Rimouski Regional Hospital. At the steel structure level, PMI has been present since August 2017 and will be there until late this fall. This work aims to repair the exterior walls of Pavilion “A” and the durability of this building housing, among other things, the operator block. PMI Steel Products are involved in this major project by manufacturing and installing steel supports linking the existing to the exterior finish.
This is not the first time that PMI has deployed all its expertise at this level, having also participated in the major seismic reinforcement project at the Rivière-du-Loup hospital a few years ago.
These are projects where the agility of design/drawing, manufacturing, project management and installation staff are challenged, and the entire team makes sure to deliver the goods.
